BrightStar Learning Centers preschool curriculum provides a rich array of daily activities and a variety of experiences to enhance language development and keep your child’s young mind stimulated throughout the day.  Learning areas focus on dramatic play, creative arts, language development and sensory exploration.  Group activities will help your child practice social skills, such as cooperation, sharing and taking turns.  Our teachers use their talent and expertise to make sure that your child is happy and having fun while learning all the skills they will need to continue advancing academically.  In order to provide the best possible care for your child, we feel it is important for us to work as a team.  With mutual respect and clear communication, your child’s time at BLC will be a pleasant, growth filled experience.

At BrightStar Learning Centers we realize that young children are active learners who need to accumulate knowledge through a variety of hands-on activities.  Preparing for kindergarten is no exception.  BLC’s Pre-K program encourages children to develop a love for learning that will take them well beyond elementary school.  Our rich, nurturing environment supports each child’s development socially, physically, and intellectually with more intensive work on numeracy, literacy and reading.  The curriculum is designed to meet early learning standards established by the Ocean View School District and the State Department of Education.  Our Pre-K staff work closely with local kindergarten teachers to help make the transition smoother for all involved.

In order for us to provide the best possible care for your child, we feel it is important for us to work as a team.  Together, parents and teachers will ensure your child’s time in the Pre-K program will be a happy and rewarding experience.
